Sheltersuit: A wind- and waterproof jacket with an optional sleeping bag attachment, designed to offer immediate shelter in colder climates. Each suit is crafted from upcycled materials, including high-quality tent fabrics and donated sleeping bags, making every piece unique.

Shelterbag: A portable, waterproof bedroll suitable for milder climates. It includes a built-in pillow and space for personal items, providing a practical solution for those without shelter.

Empowering Through Employment: The Sheltersuit School

Beyond providing immediate relief, the Foundation is committed to addressing the root causes of homelessness. In 2024, they launched the Sheltersuit School in Enschede, Netherlands. Participants engage in sewing workshops and personal development sessions, focusing on building self-confidence and independence. In its first year, all participants made significant progress, with many moving on to paid employment or continued education.

In March 2025, the Sheltersuit Foundation received the CBF Quality Mark from the Central Bureau on Fundraising in the Netherlands. This prestigious certification acknowledges the organization's commitment to transparency, effective fund management, and adherence to ethical standards. Responding to Urgent Needs

The Foundation remains agile in responding to emerging crises. Following the closure of winter shelters in the Netherlands on March 31, 2025, thousands were left without a place to sleep. The Sheltersuit Foundation stepped in to distribute Sheltersuits, providing immediate relief to those suddenly exposed to the elements. This action underscores the organization's role in filling critical gaps in social support systems.

Global Collaborations and Outreach

In collaboration with organizations like Mission Siret, they have delivered hundreds of Sheltersuits to regions in Ukraine affected by infrastructure damage due to conflict.
