The partnership with Vanta integrates its AI governance engine directly into Vanta’s trust management platform, creating what Tsankov calls “the first end-to-end solution purpose-built to solve third-party AI risk management.”
The collaboration arrives at a critical time. The EU AI Act and other emerging frameworks will soon require companies to demonstrate compliance through verifiable technical evidence — not just policy documents.
“Through this integration, LatticeFlow AI becomes the AI governance engine of Vanta, making it easy and straightforward for vendors to prove compliance and build trust directly with their customers,” says Tsankov.
Together, the two companies aim to help enterprises operationalise trustworthy AI, transforming governance from a bureaucratic hurdle into a competitive advantage.
Turning the Black Box Into an Audit Trail
For years, AI systems have been criticised for their “black box” nature — powerful but opaque, making it difficult to understand how decisions are made. That lack of transparency creates risk, particularly for businesses operating in heavily regulated industries.
LatticeFlow AI and Vanta’s integration addresses that issue. By combining deep technical assessments with compliance automation, enterprises can now produce a verifiable audit trail that aligns with frameworks like ISO 42001, NIST’s AI Risk Management Framework, and the EU AI Act.

More than 12,000 organisations worldwide rely on Vanta’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools to automate trust management. But, as Tsankov points out, AI governance requires a fundamentally different approach.
“AI governance is different from traditional GRC processes due to the complex, black-box nature of AI systems,” he says. “It’s impossible to manually inspect and bring trust merely by implementing checklists and policies.”

The platform works across all modalities—from GenAI and LLMs to computer vision—offering a unified way to evaluate performance, safety, and compliance.
A major update on the horizon will introduce push-button AI assessment workflows for frameworks such as ISO 42001 and the EU AI Act. “This will enable AI GO! to scale to tens or even hundreds of thousands of AI assessments worldwide with minimal user effort,” says Tsankov.
